Street repairs planned for Sierra Bonita neighborhood in Paso Robles
Project funded by Measure I-24 approved by voters in 2024
– The City of Paso Robles announced that street repair work will begin in the Sierra Bonita neighborhood, according to the Public Works Department.
The project is funded by Measure I-24, a supplemental sales tax approved by voters in November 2024.
Sierra Bonita is a residential neighborhood developed in the late 1970s. The city said street conditions have declined over time, and the area was prioritized for improvements as part of the pavement rehabilitation program. The city previously completed curb ramp upgrades funded through Community Development Block Grant funds, along with water service improvements supported by the Water Enterprise Fund.
The project will include targeted repairs in areas with the most wear and full pavement overlays intended to extend the life of the roadways.
Granite Construction Company will begin work in March, with completion expected by fall. Temporary no-parking signs will be posted throughout the construction area.
