– Studios on the Park will unveil a new exhibition featuring artwork by San Luis Obispo County women in celebration of Women’s History Month. The exhibition, titled Women’s Work, will be held from March 1 to April 27, in the Atrium Gallery of Studios on the Park. The show is guest-curated by Lena Rushing.
The exhibition will feature artists who challenge patriarchal norms, practice empathy, protest fascism, and find catharsis through their art. These artists define “women’s work” as deconstructing gender norms, fighting for equality, and exercising intersectional feminism.

Studios on the Park is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing creative, educational, and transformational experiences that enhance the understanding and appreciation of the visual arts. The organization makes the creative process accessible to the public through an open studio environment, featuring artists working in various media.
It also offers educational programs for children and adults, along with exhibitions by regional, national, and international artists. Purchases made from the Up Front Gallery support the arts programming for children, teens, and adults.
Women’s Work will be open to the public Sunday through Thursday from 12 to 4 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 12 to 9 p.m. For more information, visit https://studiosonthepark.org/events/womens-work/.
