Summer programs continue at the library 

– The Paso Robles City Library is hosting a variety of activities this summer for children, teens and adults.Library

July’s events include:

Read to the Rhythm

July’s special reading-incentive program activities for teens, ages 10-18, include:
• Friday, July 10: 7 pm. The Spaces Between—Enjoy this local band’s fusion of funk, jazz, alternative and rock music
• Wednesday, July 15, 7 pm. Drum Circle—Bring an instrument or use one of ours for an evening of self-expression, group connection, and emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being

 The Adventures of Super Reader

July’s special reading-incentive program activities for children, ages 3-12, include:
• Wednesday, July 8: Gerald Joseph Magician. A wacky mix of magic and comedy fun for all ages.
• Tuesday, July 14: Sing Loud. Join musician Melissa Green for a jamming and jumping concert for families. Perfect for little rockers ages 8 and under.
• Thursday, July 16: It’s Not Rocket Science — Wait! Yes it is! Create a rocket to be launched in the Downtown City Park on Saturday, July 18.
• Saturday, July 18: Rocket Launch. Bring your rocket from library craft day and watch it soar. (Children who wish to participate must come to the Children’s Desk with a parent/guardian to sign a waiver and pick up their participation wrist band before the launch.)
