Summer reading program challenges children and teens

Reading program runs from June 13 – Aug. 13Read for the win paso robles library

–Children and teens will win at reading this summer when they join the “Read for the Win” summer reading program at the Paso Robles City Library. In addition to reading, they’ll enjoy a variety of Olympic-themed educational and entertaining events—Zumba, arts and crafts, storytelling, music, movies, magic, and more. All summer reading programs are free of charge and open to all children and teens.

Exercising their minds during the summer months helps children and teens maintain their school-year momentum, improve their reading skills, and return to school in the fall ready to learn and succeed.

The Summer Reading Program is June 13-Aug. 13. Check the Summer Activity Guide for more information about when and where the programs will be offered. Visit the Library or Study Center weekly to check out materials, attend events, and collect prizes.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, please call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
