“Paso Robles Public Schools had separate incidents that required two elementary schools to be placed on precautionary lock-down,” says Paso Robles Public Schools superintendent Chris Williams. “I want to assure each of you that the safety of students, staff, and community remains as a top priority.

“District staff and law enforcement agencies completed a thorough investigation, exhausting all leads and information regarding the two incidents, and are pleased to report there were no findings or evidence to substantiate either account.

“Paso Robles Public Schools and law enforcement will continue to provide additional support for all school sites in coming days, and we appreciate your confidence and patience. Based on feedback and analysis of yesterday’s events, we have added additional steps that will provide immediate feedback and communication via our Facebook and Twitter accounts , press releases, text messaging, auto-dialer, emergency hotline ((805) 769- 1411), and email to keep parents and the public informed with accurate and timely information.

“Our belief in and commitment to every student, parent, staff, and community member drives our relentless pursuit for excellence, and we will not settle for anything less.”

Now they can focus on the success of students, instead of ……….

I find this a complete crock of shit!!!! As a parent of two students attending Pat Buttler Elementary, I am laughing as I read this article! I in no way think that the police department should be so confident in reporting that they didn't find anything or anyone responsible for the encounter that two students had with suspect. I think it's a complete cop out on their part to discredit the story of TWO students, just because there kids. I in every way think that they should continue to investigate this matter until it is solved. In no way does this article make myself , or I'm sure any of the other students, or their parents feel any safer about sending our kids to school everyday! I think it is being glossed over and that for whatever reason they feel something like this couldn't happen in a town like this. Well guess what, it can, and I pray to God doesn't eventually get carried out because the police department during there initial investigation " didn't find any evidence" I turn, I personally will be relocating my children to a different school, and really hope this one doesn't come back to bite the paso pd in the ass!!
