Suspect arrested for DUI after fleeing crash
–Sunday night at approximately 8:30 p.m. Paso Robles Police were dispatched to the area of 13th and River Rd for a two-vehicle collision. When officers and the fire department arrived on scene they discovered a disabled vehicle in the middle of the intersection.
Fire personnel checked the driver of the vehicle for any injuries but no injuries were found. The driver of the second vehicle fled from the scene to an address on Locust St.
Officers arrived to the 1800 block of Locust St and found the vehicle involved in the crash. Once officers found the suspected driver they conducted field sobriety tests. The suspected driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
