Suspects arrested after retail theft at Paso Robles store
Over $1,000 in merchandise recovered from suspects’ vehicle
– The Paso Robles Police Department responded Thursday, Oct. 16, to a report of a commercial theft that had just occurred at Ulta Beauty in Paso Robles.
Police said the suspects fled the area before officers arrived. With assistance from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office, officers located a vehicle occupied by four males matching the suspects’ description.
According to investigators, the four men were involved in the theft, and more than $1,000 in stolen merchandise was found inside their vehicle. Police said the suspects are believed to be part of a South American retail theft ring.
The suspects were identified as John Steven, 26, of Los Angeles; Milton Pericoruiz, 28, of Fontana; Christian Duvanpardotirado, 29, of Los Angeles; and Maicol Fabian Pavon, 26, of Los Angeles.
They were arrested on suspicion of burglary (459 PC) and conspiracy to commit a crime (182 PC) and were booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
