Sworn Deputy Sheriff’s Association endorses congressional candidate

–Today, the San Luis Obispo County Sworn Deputy Sheriff’s Association (SDSA) announced its endorsement of Justin Fareed for Congress. The group is comprised of deputy Sheriffs, Senior Deputy Sheriffs, and Sergeants who serve San Luis Obispo County.

John McDaniel, San Luis Obispo County SDSA president, said, “The San Luis Obispo County Sworn Deputy Sheriff’s Association is proud to endorse Justin Fareed for US House of Representatives. It is more important than ever to have representatives here locally and in Washington D.C., who understand the difficulties and demands on law enforcement in today’s environment. We believe Justin Fareed is best suited to provide the support we need to ensure the safety of our community. Join us in electing Justin Fareed on Nov. 6, to represent us in California’s 24th District.”

Following the announcement, Fareed said, “These deputies are the first line of protection in our communities and they are committed to keeping criminals off of our streets. I am honored to earn the endorsement and support of the San Luis Obispo County Sworn Deputy Sheriff’s Association. My top priority is keeping our families safe, and I look forward to being the voice for Central Coast law enforcement officers and first responders in Washington. Together, we will fight to protect our families and our future.”

Justin Fareed is a candidate for California’s 24th Congressional District. He is also president of a local small business, Pro Band Sports Industries, and a third-generation cattle rancher. Justin is a graduate of UCLA and has worked for a senior member of Congress; handling various matters pertaining to foreign relations, small business, agriculture, drafting and coordinating the movement of legislation, and building bipartisan consensus on Capitol Hill.
