Paso Robles library

Paso Robles City Council Chambers/Library.

–The Paso Robles City Library invites the public to a performance by members of the Symphony of the Vines chamber orchestra on Saturday, Jan. 12, from 2-3 p.m. in the Library Conference Room.

Founded by director Greg Magie, the orchestra’s mission is to bring live classical music performances to the North County area of San Luis Obispo. For the Library performance, cellists Barbara Hunter-Spencer and Hilary Clark will perform movements from J. S. Bach’s suites for unaccompanied cello. These selections are a sample of music to be performed at the group’s upcoming “Off the Vines” concert later this month.

Registration is not required. This event is appropriate for ages 10+. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. For more information, contact Adult Services Librarian, Karen Christiansen at 805-237-3870.

The Paso Robles City Library is located at 1000 Spring Street and is open Monday – Friday 10-8, and Saturday 10-5. For more information on library programs and events, call (805) 237-3870 or visit www.prcity.com/library.
