Table-Top Game Day becomes monthly event at the library

game day at the paso robles library—Table Top Game Day, designed for ages 16 and up, allows participants to try out trending board games or enjoy a beloved classic while meeting new friends.

The next meeting will be on Oct. 20, from 1-4 p.m., thanks to a generous donation from Target and the Paso Robles Friends of the Library, the featured games will be Arkham Horror, and Sorry.

In Arkham Horror, players choose one of three scenarios based on the stories of H. P. Lovecraft. Players are investigators who travel from place to place collecting clues that help them save the day. Working with other players, will you achieve your goals?

Not in the mood for working with other players to achieve a goal? Enjoy the classic game of Sorry where it’s every man for himself – will you win the game by saying, “Sorry” to the other players as you send them back to the beginning?

Other new and classic games are available if the featured games do not appeal to you. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information, contact Karen Christiansen, (805) 237-3870. Registration for this event is recommended.
