Templeton 4th of July parade celebrates small town patriotism

–Thousands of patriotic locals and visitors lined the streets of downtown Templeton for the Annual Fourth of July Parade.

Congressman Salud Carbajal rode with Paso Robles Mayor Steve Martin. Supervisor Debbie Arnold toured the parade route in a 1929 Coupe with four granddaughters in the rumble seat. Supervisor John Peschong walked the route with Cub Scout Pack 234 of Templeton. His son is a Cub Scout.

Parade Director Bill Pelfry is stepping down after 30 years as Director. He said, ” I love the small town, non-commercial atmosphere of this parade.”

After the parade, dozens of booths filled the Templeton City Park with food, beverages and fun for visitors to Templeton on the 4th of July.
