Templeton Beer Run returns in June
Fundraiser will support local recreation programs and parks
– The Templeton Recreation Foundation and Templeton Recreation Department will host the 2026 Templeton 5K Beer Run on June 27 at BarrelHouse Brewing Company in Paso Robles.
The fundraiser welcomes runners, joggers, walkers, families with strollers, and leashed dogs. Organizers said proceeds from the event will support Templeton recreation programs, activities, parks, and community recreation opportunities.
The 5K course begins at BarrelHouse Brewing Company, located at 3055 Limestone Way, and travels through Tin City and the surrounding area before returning to the brewery’s beer garden area.
Participants age 21 and older will receive a 5-ounce beer taster at the start of the race and a pint at the finish line. Organizers said nonalcoholic beverages, children’s drinks, and snacks will also be available.
All participants will be entered into the runner’s opportunity drawing, and organizers said finisher awards will also be presented.
Check-in opens at 7 a.m., and the race begins at 8 a.m.
Pre-registration pricing is available through June 23. Adult registration costs $45. The first child registration costs $20, and additional children cost $15 each. Day-of-race registration will cost $60.
Participants who register by June 8 are guaranteed an event T-shirt. Organizers said shirt sizes and availability are not guaranteed after that date.
“The Beer Run has become one of Templeton’s favorite community traditions,” organizers shared. “It’s a fun way to bring people together while raising funds that directly benefit local recreation programs and activities for residents of all ages.”
The Templeton Recreation Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the Templeton Recreation Department through funding for recreation programs, facilities, parks, and community activities.
