Templeton Beer Run returns May 31 at BarrelHouse Brewing Co.
Event features a 5K loop through the Tin City area and a shorter .5K option
– The Templeton REC Foundation and Templeton Recreation Department will host the ninth annual Templeton 5K Beer Run on May 31 at BarrelHouse Brewing Co., located at 3055 Limestone Way.
The event features a 5K loop through the Tin City area and a shorter .5K option. Participants aged 21 and older will receive a .5-ounce beer taster at the starting line and a pint at the finish. Non-alcoholic beverages, kids’ drinks, and snacks will be available.
Race day registration opens at 7 a.m., with the run starting at 8 a.m. Pre-registration is available through May 29 for $45 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Registration on race day is $60. Participants who sign up by May 15 will receive an event T-shirt. All runners will receive a 5K finisher’s medal.
Following the race, participants will be entered into a drawing for prizes, including gift cards, disc golf passes, and camping experiences. Live music will take place at the BarrelHouse Brewing Co. amphitheater.
