Templeton Glass offers free hotdogs to veterans, active military at THS game

‘Snack Shack Takeover’ allows local businesses to sponsor snack shack during home games, proceeds support student-athletes

    – Templeton Glass has announced its sponsorship of the Templeton High School (THS) Athletic Boosters Club’s new fundraising initiative, the “Snack Shack Takeover.” This program allows local businesses to sponsor the snack shack during THS home games, with proceeds going to the Boosters Club to support student-athletes.

Templeton Glass will kick off the program on Friday, Sept. 27, by volunteering at the snack shack during the game. Kelly Flannagan, owner of Templeton Glass, and her team will be serving food while promoting their business to the community. As part of the event, Templeton Glass will offer free hotdogs to active military personnel and veterans.

“I grew up here in Templeton, and the opportunity to support the school and our local athletes means so much to me,” Flannagan said. “We wanted to find a fun way to get our business involved while giving back to the community that’s given us so much. The Snack Shack Takeover is a perfect way to do that, and we’re excited to kick it off. Plus, offering free hotdogs to veterans and military is a small way for us to show our gratitude to those who serve.”

The Snack Shack Takeover gives businesses the chance to volunteer and gain brand exposure by operating the snack shack for one home game. Participating businesses can display banners, offer promotional items, and connect with local families and fans.

Kristi Abatti, corporate advertising director for the THS Boosters Club, expressed her gratitude to Templeton Glass for launching the program. “We are so grateful to Templeton Glass for stepping up as the first business to sponsor this new initiative,” Abatti said. “Kelly’s vision for creating a program that engages local businesses and benefits our student-athletes is exactly the kind of community spirit we strive for. We’re excited to see other local businesses follow in their footsteps and get involved.”

The Snack Shack Takeover is designed to strengthen community ties, enhance game-day experiences, and support Templeton High School’s athletic programs. Businesses interested in sponsoring a future event can contact the THS Boosters Club for more information.
