Coach’s comment: Luke is off to a fast start in his high school golf career. In his first 3 competitions, Luke either tied for or was the lowest score for Templeton High School. In his second league tournament, Luke shot a 74 to win the Individual Medalist and lead Templeton to a first-place team finish in the Mountain League consisting of the best teams on the central coast. Luke’s score was shot in cold and windy conditions that hampered the best players in the county who all finished several strokes or more behind his first place.
