On April 10th, Templeton Golf hosted the best schools in the county in their 5th league tournament.  At the time, Quinn Tannehill was ranked as the 5th best golfer on the Templeton team of 6, but when it was needed to win the tournament, Quinn shot his personal league best score of 75 at Hunter Ranch Golf Course.  This helped the Eagles to surge past league leading SLO High on their way to a win over all five league schools.  With Quinn’s incredible effort and great attitude, he bested his season average by more than 10 strokes and helped the Eagles pull to within one point of SLO High in the Mountain League standings.  Quinn’s perseverance and strong effort has put the Eagles in a great position to try and win their first ever Mountain League golf championship. – Templeton High School Coach Scott Cramer
