Templeton High School Athletes of the Week
Johnny Peschong
Eagle: Johnny Peschong
Sport: Varsity Football
Year: Junior
Coach’s comment: Johnny is a returning 1st team all-league offensive lineman. He is having an outstanding season for the Eagles and has made his presence felt on both offense and defense so far this season. His stellar play as defensive end has created some opportunities for Johnny to make some big plays already this season. One of the biggest was a tackle in the backfield on a 4th-down play to help seal the Eagles victory at Firebaugh. Johnny is a leader by example and puts out great effort every day. He is a positive example to every player in our program. – Coach Dan Crow
