An impressive outing for Templeton High runners Josh Bell and Frannie Perry at Saturday’s California State Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno. Frannie ran a personal best 18:51.6 to take 23rd out of 212 runners in the Division III Finals, shaving off 9 seconds from her previous best on this course and 4th fastest in school history. Josh ran 14:52.3 taking 2nd in Division III out of a field of over 200 of the state’s best. Josh’s time was 6th best of any division – a total of 1000 runners – and qualified him to run in the Nike Nationals next weekend in Portland.– Templeton High School Athletics
