Templeton hosts Atascadero in pre-season scrimmage 

–Templeton High School hosted Atascadero in a pre-season football scrimmage Friday night.

Each team took ran a few series of downs from midfield. The Greyhounds showed depth and strength, running the ball well up the middle. The explosive Templeton offensive completed at least four touchdown passes. Sr. quarterback Morgan Scovell threw and ran well for him the Eagles.

The regular season opens Friday for each team. Templeton travels to Aptos in the Santa Cruz area. Atascadero hosts Foothill High School of Santa Ana.

The Templeton game will be aired on AM 1230 KPRL. The Atascadero game will be aired on KJUG.
