Templeton hosts playoffs

–Templeton High School hosted two CIF play-off games at Vineyard Ballpark Thursday afternoon. The undefeated Tempelton girls softball team beat Quartz Hill 2-1 to advance in the play-offs. The Eagles are now 23-0 for the season. They’ll play at Pomona Catholic on Tuesday. Pomona Catholic beat Ontario Christian 9-1 yesterday to advance to the second round.

The Templeton Baseball team lost to Windward from Los Angeles, 2-1 in the 8th inning. The Eagles tied the game on a sacrifice fly late in the game to force extra innings, but Windward won it in the 8th to advance to the 2nd round of the CIF Playoffs.
