5th Annual Fashion Show & Luncheon Benefit April 12

Templeton-LibraryThe Templeton Community Library Association is presenting its 5th Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon, slated for April 12, 2014. It’s called “An Affair to Remember—A Garden Party.” Don’t miss out on this fun filled event to benefit the Building Fund for a new Templeton Community Library.

“It is a surprise to many locals that Templeton hasn’t had a library since the late 70’s when the Templeton Fire Department took over the building where the library was located,” says Yeesen Leewolfe. “The county library hasn’t the resources to build this much needed community center and it’s been up to a small group of us to try to raise the funds to achieve this. It’s been a long time in the making. Although we have the building plans and permits approved and a contractor lined up, our financial goal is not yet within reach.”

Chef and owner Ian McPhee again offers his restaurant, McPhee’s Grill, for the show and mid-day repast as attendees enjoy the delectable food while feasting their eyes on “au courant” fashion. Lovely gals and good looking guys will showcase the apparel, lent to the event by local north county stores. Check out fashion gifts and accessories for purchase from local artists and shops. All attendees have a chance to win the event raffle.

Tickets, $40, are available at the Templeton Community Services District Office, 420 Crocker Street, Templeton, CA. To order tickets or reserve tables for the event, please contact Carla Willhoit (805) 434-1535, Marcea Petersen (805) 434-0069, or any TCLA Board Members.
