Templeton Library’s first Saturday sale returns May 2
Up to 30 vendors to offer goods, gifts, and flowers
– Templeton Library will host its second First Saturday Sale on May 2, with sales opening at 8 a.m.
The event will feature up to 30 vendors offering tools, collectibles, art, books, toys, clothes, and jewelry. Flowers, Mother’s Day gifts, and additional items will also be available.
Templeton Library operates as the only entirely donor-funded library in the area. Although Templeton residents pay 1.6% of their property taxes for county library services, the library does not receive county taxpayer funds. Those tax dollars fund 14 other county branches, according to the library.
The First Saturday Sales serve as a fundraiser that supports the library’s operational costs through donations.
