Templeton opens vendor applications for July 4 celebration

Chamber invites businesses and groups to apply for booth space

    – Vendor applications are now open for the annual Fourth of July Parade and Park Celebration in Templeton. The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 4 at Templeton Park.

The celebration, hosted by the Paso Robles and Templeton Chamber of Commerce, includes a pancake breakfast, parade and community festivities. Vendors are encouraged to provide family-friendly, interactive displays and activities.

Vendor set-up begins at 7 a.m., and all vehicles must be off the parade route by 8 a.m. Booths will remain open until 3 p.m., and early tear-downs are not permitted.

All applicants must submit their business name, mobile phone number and a description of booth items or food products in the “Comments” section of the registration. The chamber will confirm registration by email within seven days of receiving the application and payment. The chamber reserves the right to deny any application at its discretion.

Vendors offering food items must complete the San Luis Obispo County Health Department’s Temporary Food Facility Checklist and application. A copy of the temporary food facility license must be submitted to the chamber by June 20. Food vendors must also clearly list the food and other items they plan to sell, as duplication of offerings will be avoided when possible.

Booth fees include a 10-foot by 10-foot space. Groups needing additional space must purchase extra booth spaces. Each group is responsible for cleaning their assigned area and disposing of all trash in the roll-off container by the end of the day.

    Vendor pricing is as follows:

    For chamber members:

    • Informational non-profit booths (no selling): $50

    • Non-profit booths (selling): $100

    • Commercial booths: $150

    For non-members:

    • Informational booths (no selling): $100

    • Informational booths (selling): $150

    • Commercial booths: $200
