Templeton tennis team makes program history with playoff win 

Victory over Frontier High School marks historic playoff milestone

– The Templeton High School varsity tennis team advanced to the Central Section Division 2 semifinals for the first time in school history after a 5-4 win over Frontier High School in Bakersfield on May 1, according to Templeton High School Tennis Coach Ian Consoli.

Templeton, unseeded in the tournament, defeated Frontier, the No. 2 seed, in a close match that secured the team’s spot in the next round. The team will play against Bullard High School, the No. 3 seed, on May 6.

The Templeton roster includes several seniors who began their high school tennis careers in Division 4. Over four years, they have contributed to moving the program into higher competition levels and reaching new milestones.
