Templeton Turkey Trot set for Nov. 19
The Templeton Recreation Department is hosting the 9th Annual Turkey Trot Family Fun Run on Saturday, Nov. 19.
Participants may choose from a 5k, 10k, or 1-Mile Kids Loop course. The 5k and 10k runs start at 8 a.m. The 1-mile Kids Loop follows at 9 a.m. The starting point for each run begins in front of the Templeton Fire Department located at 206 5th Street.
There will be new routes for the 5k and 10k runs featured this year. The kids 1-mile will be 3 laps around the park in view of family and friends.
All participants running in the 5k and 10k will receive a t-shirt, if registered by Nov. 11, race bib, and a raffle ticket for one of the many prizes that will be handed out. The 1-mile Kids Loop participants will receive a goody bag and participation ribbon.
Pre-registration is now open. To register online, visit the Recreation Department pages at the Templeton Community Services District website at www.templetoncsd.org. The cost for pre-registration for the 5k and 10k trot is $45. The 1-mile Kids Loop Fun Run is $5.
