–As part of the city park rehabilitation project, the gazebo at the downtown Paso Robles City Park was inspected, and termites were found, according to city staff.

Beginning Monday, the gazebo will be boarded up and an orange safety fence will be installed around the perimeter. On Tuesday, Key Termite will tent the structure and pump in pesticides as well as tear gas to dissuade those who might want to get through the barriers.

The project should be completed and all barriers removed on Thursday.
