Abstract watercolor expresses joy in nature

– In May, art in the Paso Robles Library will feature the creative expression of artist Linda Abbott Trapp, who finds her inspiration in “nature, faith, love, and culture.”

“My abstract watercolor works express my joy in nature, interpersonal relations, being alive in this beautiful world, full of people who bring love and challenges into my life,” said Trapp. At one time a potter, weaver, and counselor, Trapp’s travels and work have exposed her to commonalities and rich traditions and ways to deal with challenges. “I have lived a long and fortunate life, with exposure to the best of many worlds. I want to bring hope and joy to others as well as to express gratitude for the opportunities and love I have been given,” Trapp said.
