The Girls of Fall: Women in Wine photography exhibit opens at Studios on the Park
Exhibit will remain on display through December
– Central Coast photographer Jeanine Madson will debut The Girls of Fall: Women in Wine photo series with an opening reception on Dec. 5 from 5–8 p.m. at Studios on the Park in downtown Paso Robles.
The collection features portraits of vineyard managers, winemakers, cellar workers, and lab technicians. Madson photographed the women in their work environments, including vineyards, barrel rooms, and production areas.
The reception is free and open to the public. Attendees will be able to sample wine, have light refreshments, and meet the women featured in the series.
“What started as a personal passion project has become a community celebration,” says Madson, a wine business professional and graduate of Templeton High School. “These women work sunrise to sunset, often covered in grapeskins and dirt, yet most people don’t know about them. I wanted the portraits to convey the powerful, beautiful, and undeniably real women that embody the romance of winemaking.”
The Girls of Fall will remain on display at Studios on the Park throughout December.
The exhibit will be held at Studios on the Park at 1130 Pine St. in Paso Robles. Admission is free. More information is available at thegirlsoffall.com or on Instagram at @thegirlsoffall.
