Thomas Hill Organics launches area’s first dessert bar
–Thomas Hill Organics has announced the launch of a brand-new dessert bar, welcoming guests of all ages to enjoy a selection of treats crafted both in-house and by local purveyors, and paired with local coffee, tea, beer, and wine.
Owner Debbie Thomas says she is excited to reveal the restaurant’s newest offering, featuring locally-made desserts, and was inspired by the “dessert rooms” she encountered while traveling throughout Spain.
Served in the front bar and lounge area of the restaurant, the dessert bar will feature a mouthwatering selection of house-made sweets, such as Chef Libry’s version of s’mores with brown butter graham cracker soil with dark chocolate mousse and smoked marshmallow meringue. There will also be offerings from local purveyors including Angela’s Pastries, Leo Leo Gelato and sheep’s milk ice cream from Negranti Creamery. Adding to the experience are pairing recommendations, such as Deschutes Black Butte Porter with flourless chocolate torte or Halter Ranch Vin de Paille with Angela’s lemon tart. Pairings can include coffee from Joebella Coffee and Spearhead Espresso, and tea from the Secret Garden.
While desserts will be available all day, the bar will be staffed in the evenings from 5 – 10 p.m., offering guests a welcoming place to linger after dinner with the added convenience of being able to pop by anytime for a sweet treat.
The dessert bar at Thomas Hill Organics will launch Nov. 4, 2019.
