Thomas Lifson, founder of American Thinker, to speak to Republican women June 18
Thomas Lifson, founder and publisher of the daily online magazine American Thinker, will be making an appearance to speak at a meeting of the Paso Robles Republican Women at the Paso Robles Inn Ballroom on Monday, June 18. 
Sponsored by the Paso Robles Republican Women Federated, Lifson, as well as addressing the current news, will discuss the great ‘conflict’ underway, including the strategies of the left and the right’s response, according to a press release from the event’s organizers.

Lifson calls himself a recovering academic. After graduating from Kenyon College, he studied modern Japan, sociology, and business as a graduate student at Harvard and joined the faculty at Harvard Business School, where he began the consulting career that was to lead him away from academia.
He also taught sociology and East Asian studies at Harvard and held visiting professorships at Columbia University and the Japanese National Museum of Ethnology. As a consultant, he has worked with major companies from the United States, Japan, Europe, Asia, and Australasia at the nexus of human, organizational, and strategic issues.
In 2003 he founded American Thinker. Living in Berkeley, California, Lifson says he goes to bed nightly at 6:00 p.m. because his work hour begins at 1:00 a.m. He lives the life of a West Coast editor of a daily publication reaching a large readership that favors mornings.
In order to have fresh material, Lifson, along with three other west coast staffers, must work several hours before that. They sort through a myriad of timely articles submitted from outstanding conservative authors from all over the country. Lifson’s own articles have appeared on Real Clear Politics and are regularly posted on Lucianne.com.
