‘Through the Vines’ quilt show happening this weekend
–Vines RV Resort recently announced their 2nd annual “Through the Vines Quilt Show” on April 27 and 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for general public entry and a special Early Bird Entry with donation from 9 to 10 a.m.
Vines RV Resort, just three miles north of Paso Robles off Hwy 101, will host this event in two beautiful ballrooms and their Magnolia Beer and Wine Lounge, along with vendors in their spacious RV sites surrounding the quilt show.
“We are pleased to have quilt vendors from some the largest shows on the west coast,” said Cindy Wattenbarger, Manager of Vines RV Resort. “Even if you are not a quilter, we have vendors that will interest all.” The event includes vendors from all over the West Coast that will interest not only quilters, but the whole family. There will be gorgeous handmade quilt to view and some will also be available for purchase. Ten percent of all sales of quilts, as well as all of the raffle proceeds, will go to the local charity, AmpSurf, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to Promote, Inspire, Educate, and Rehabilitate (PIER) all people with disabilities and their families through adaptive surfing and other outdoor activities.
There will also be activities for children, including junior Quilt Challenge that youth can enter before the show, as will as Kids Quilt Block Activity at the event. The Magnolia Lounge Beer and Wine Lounge serves local beer and wine from the region. A food truck will also be at the resort with delicious food for purchase. Bring the whole family to enjoy show stopping quilts, vendors, local food and drinks, and great activities.
This event is free to the public. Early Bird entry from 9 to 10 a.m. is available upon donation. Vines RV Resort will be offering special rates for their RV Sites and Cottages, which includes a free Early Bird Entry.
