Attendees browse last year’s show.

This unique event will feature the work of over 45 locally and nationally known artists using large ceramic plates as the canvas or base for their creations.

Tickets include entrance into the gala show/auction as well as a grazing menu created by wine country chef Jeff Wiesinger with wine and beer by J Lohr and Firestone Walker. Entertainment will be provided by the band Human Nation, known for their upbeat Brazilian funk and jazz tunes. Tickets are $40 per person and may be purchased online at www.prlibraryfoundation.org/bookplates-2015 or at the Paso Robles Library circulation desk. This is a 21 and older event.

“The finished plates are starting to come back from firing at Anam Cre’ Pottery Studio, and they are all beautiful!” said Paso Robles City Library Manager Karen Christiansen. “We have many new artists this year, and some of our returning artists are taking new approaches. It looks to be a feast for the eyes for our event on November 14.”

Proceeds from BookPlates support programs and improvements at the Paso Robles City Library. Since 1997, the Paso Robles Library Foundation has raised over $500,000 to augment the library budget for the City of Paso Robles.
