Tigers beat Bearcats in San Luis Obispo

Contributed by Michael Sauret

–On a blustery, rainy day in San Luis Obispo, the Paso Robles Bearcats faced off against the San Luis Obispo Tigers. While the weather was dreary the competition was excellent. The 200 freestyle was a standout with Freshman Kendall Moffitt and Junior Mackenzie Raymond taking 1st and 2nd. Audrey Hughes was a double event winner in the 50 and 100 Free, while her brother Gavin tied for 1st in the 500 freestyle at 5:09.14. Birthday boy John Nash had a season’s best time 1:05 in the 100 Back. Diver Cori Southward took 1st and Junior Ethan Moore had a second place finish in the 200 IM.

The ladies also had two CIF consideration times in the 400 and 200 freestyle Relays. All of these are fantastic midseason results.

The Tigers girls Varsity won 197-119 and SLO Boys won 195 – 92.
