Tin City opens doors for June open house event
Free event invites visitors to explore wineries, restaurants, and maker spaces
– Tin City will host TinSide & Out, a free neighborhood-wide open house, on June 27 from noon to 5 p.m.
The event expands on Tin City’s annual Block Party and invites visitors to explore the Paso Robles district’s wineries, distillery, brewery, restaurants, and maker spaces throughout the day.
Organizers said the event is designed to allow guests to move through the neighborhood at their own pace while meeting the people behind the products made in Tin City.
“TinSide & Out is really a celebration of everything that makes Tin City special. The community, the craft, and the creativity that lives in every corner of this neighborhood,” said Brooke English, steward of Tin City. “We wanted to create something that felt open and welcoming, where people could explore on their own terms and connect with the producers behind what’s here. We can’t wait to share it.”
Activities scheduled throughout the day include live music at multiple locations, including the Hubba Stage, Barrelhouse Stage, the park, and The Annex. The event will also feature a makers market with local artisans, an ECHO Homeless Shelter cornhole tournament with hourly rounds, axe throwing, a free shuttle between Tin City and The Annex, and a bottle check service where visitors can store purchases while exploring the neighborhood.
Food will be available in addition to offerings from Tin City’s existing food businesses.
Admission is free and the event is open to all ages. Organizers said more than 700 people attended last year’s event when it was ticketed and expect attendance to increase with free admission this year.
TinSide & Out will take place throughout Tin City in Paso Robles.
