Tip-A-Cop event to raise funds for Special Olympics athletes
Event to be held Sept. 18 at Paso Robles Events Center
– The Paso Robles Police Department will host its annual “Tip-A-Cop” fundraiser on Sept. 18 at the Paso Robles Event Center to benefit Special Olympics Southern California. The event is part of a statewide initiative that involves law enforcement officers serving dinner to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes.
The event features two seating times, at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. A table for eight is available for $250, and individual meals for pick-up are also an option for those unable to attend. All proceeds will support Special Olympics programs in San Luis Obispo County, which provide opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to participate in year-round sports, health, and community activities.
For reservations, meal orders, or donations, visit the Special Olympics SLO County Tip-A-Cop page.
