Tom Brady and Odell Beckham Jr Embrace Prior to Buccaneers vs Saints Match-Up

Free agent Odell Beckham Jr elected to go visit Tom Brady ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback’s clash with the New Orleans Saints this weekend. The exchange was friendly and is the latest in a number of trips the former Los Angeles Rams man has been taking in recent weeks.

Beckham, who suffered a torn ACL in last year’s Super Bowl, is without a team, and the odds of him finding a new home any time soon are pretty patchy; certainly, you’d get better odds visiting the best online casinos on that point, you can find more details here about where you can check out the best options available in New Jersey.

As for OBJ, it’s unclear quite where he may end up once he recovers from his long-term injury. Last season he moved to the Rams and played a key role in taking the team to the Super Bowl, and he scored a touchdown in their win over the Cincinnati Bengals before he left the field through injury.

Two weeks into the season, he may well be thinking about his options and maybe had a word or two with Brady on the matter.

There is talk of a possible move to the Buffalo Bills or even Tampa Bay, but there’s no rush to make a decision as Beckham Jr is some weeks from a full recovery.

Odell Beckham Jr. is known to be something of a prankster, and that may well be what was behind his apparent statement on a future move when discussing the topic with Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Von Miller when he apparently said that he’d go to whoever would win the match between the Bills and the Los Angeles Rams.

As it turned out, the Bills eased to victory in the week one encounter, 31-10, though the Rams did bounce back to defeat the Atlanta Falcons 31-27 in week two, and a future at the SoFi Stadium is a distinct possibility for OBJ.

Head coach Sean McVay has made it clear he wants the player back, commenting on the future prospects for the 29-year-old, who turned up at his summer wedding;

“I mean, I love Odell,”

“So only in Odell’s fashion could he be the wedding crasher at our wedding. He showed up and crashed the wedding. I said, ‘You crashed my wedding; you re-sign with the Rams then, man.’ That’s a given right there.”

Over the course of the eight regular season games that Beckham Jr. appeared in, he caught 27 of 48 and completed 305 yards and five touchdowns. He upped those numbers in the playoffs with 21 receptions for 288 yards and two touchdowns, including the one in the Super Bowl.

There is no denying OBJ’s abilities, and as such, he’s a much sought-after free agent, among the best that are available, but a lot depends on how fast he recovers from his injury and what sort of player he is when he does so.
