Tori Amos announces Paso Robles concert date
Performance supports new album ‘In Times of Dragons’
– Tori Amos will bring her upcoming U.S. summer tour to Vina Robles Ampitheatre in Paso Robles in support of her newly announced studio album, In Times of Dragons, which is scheduled for release May 1 through Universal/Fontana.
The Paso Robles stop is part of a 35-date U.S. tour announced Jan. 20. The tour will also include performances in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Boston, Austin, Philadelphia, and at Red Rocks, among other locations.
In Times of Dragons is Amos’ 18th studio album. She recently received a Grammy Award nomination for the soundtrack to her children’s book Tori and the Muses, which became a New York Times bestselling title in 2025. The new album continues her focus on storytelling through a cast of original characters.
Amos described the album’s concept, saying, “In Times of Dragons is a metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny, reflecting the current abhorrent non accidental burning down of democracy in real time by the ‘Dictator believing Lizard Demons’ in their usurpation of America.”
The album artwork was also released with the announcement. Photographer Kasia Wozniak created the cover using a vintage photographic process with direct paper positives through the RA-4 process, shooting with a large-format camera. Wozniak said, “Each photograph was slowly composed, photographed, and processed. It felt magical to weave Tori’s work and vision with my own. We moved from photograph to photograph with an intuitive rhythm, aligned in every shot. The process became a kind of ritual.”
Amos also commented on the collaboration, saying, “To work with Kasia and Stylist Karen Binns to bring the story and characters to life was a truly moving experience. Seeing our collaborations come to life, with them and the whole team will live with me forever.”
During the U.S. tour, Amos will perform songs from In Times of Dragons alongside selections from across her 35-year career. She will be joined by longtime collaborators Jon Evans on musical direction and bass and Ash Soan on drums, along with backing singers Liv Gibson, Deni Hlavinka, and Hadley Kennary.
The U.S. tour will follow Amos’ largest European tour in a decade, which spans 17 countries.
