Tour of Paso bike ride returns to Paso Robles in March

Routes start and finish at Niner Wine Estates

    – The 18th annual Tour of Paso bike ride will return Sunday, March 22, with cyclists riding routes that begin and end at Niner Wine Estates to raise funds for local cancer patients and their families.

The annual event is hosted by Cancer Support Community California Central Coast and serves as one of the organization’s signature fundraisers supporting free programs and services for individuals impacted by cancer throughout San Luis Obispo County.

“The Tour of Paso is more than a bike ride, it’s a powerful expression of community,” Executive Director Candice Galli said. “Every mile ridden and every dollar raised helps ensure that local cancer patients and their families receive the emotional, social, and mental health support they need. Our motto, ‘Community is Stronger than Cancer,’ truly comes to life on this day.”

Riders of all experience levels may choose between 50-mile and 26-mile routes. Both courses start and finish at Niner Wine Estates and travel through Paso Robles wine country.

“There’s nothing quite like riding through Paso Robles in the spring,” Galli said. “It’s a beautiful reminder of why this community comes together year after year.”

Registration is open at cscslo.org. The registration fee is $100, and participants are required to raise a minimum of $200. Top individual and team fundraisers will receive special prizes in recognition of their support.

Cancer Support Community California Central Coast provides professionally led emotional support and educational programs for individuals and families affected by cancer. Proceeds from the Tour of Paso, along with private donations and sponsorships, help sustain these services for the local community.
