Travel Paso opens 2026 community event grants applications
Deadline for 2026 grant applications is Oct. 17
– Travel Paso has opened the application period for Community Event Grants to support events held from January through December 2026.
The program invites events, activities, and organizations that align with Travel Paso’s mission to apply for funds that will brand, market, and promote Paso Robles as a destination. Applications are due by Oct. 17 for events happening in the 2026 calendar year.
Travel Paso uses funds generated by tourism to support local events that enhance visitor experiences and improve the quality of life for residents. A portion of its annual marketing budget is allocated to the Community Event Grants program.
Last year, Travel Paso received 26 applications. The Travel Paso Board of Directors and the Travel Paso Marketing Committee reviewed the requests and awarded $97,000 in grant funding to 20 organizations that aligned with the mission to make a significant impact on tourism growth in Paso Robles. All applicants received in-kind marketing to support their events.
Grant recipients in 2025 included AIDS/LifeCycle, American Junior Golf Association, Bovine Classic, Camp Roberts Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Castoro Cellars, Estrella Warbirds Museum, FARMstead ED / SLO Co Farm Trail, Garagiste Events Inc., LXV Wine, Mujeres de Acción, Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association, Paderewski Festival, Paso Robles CAB Collective, Paso Robles Distillery Trail, Paso Robles Horse Park Foundation, Paso Robles Main Street Association, REC Foundation, Rhone Rangers, Studios on the Park, Vina Robles Amphitheatre and the 805 Paso Robles Taco Festival.
