Trinity Lutheran School hosts fundraiser for new gym
Now in its 53rd year as part of the North County community, Trinity Lutheran School will be hosting their 16th annual dinner and auction fundraiser on Friday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Paso Robles Inn Grand Ballroom. The money that will be raised by the event will go towards creating a new gym on the campus.
This year’s theme celebrates a message from the movie, ‘The Wizard of Oz,” specifically the famous phrase from Glinda the Good Witch: “You’ve always had the power, my dear, you just had to learn it for yourself.”
The proposed gymnasium (in blue) would replace an existing portable building and the outdoor courts.
“We decided on a lighthearted theme that is also inspirational to young hearts and minds,” said Trinity Lutheran School Principal Jane Fairbank. “This year is exciting as we are financing a large project: The Trinity Gymnasium, which will advance our sports program and include additional classroom space.”
The evening will feature a no-host beverage reception, silent auction, and seated dining before moving into the live auction segment of the program. Auction items include an array of wines, spa products, golf packages, decorative pieces for the home, restaurant and retail gift certificates, children’s products, artisan wares and more.
“This auction is an integral part of funds raised by our Parent Booster Association, which plays a key role in supporting our educational needs. Come out and enjoy a lovely evening for a terrific cause,” Faribank said.
