    Two escape from house fire in San Miguel 

    Cal Fire reduces paramedics to Carissa Plain–Around 2 a.m. Friday morning Cal Fire responded to a call on the 10,000 block of Mission Almond Way in San Miguel for a residential structure fire.

    Reports say two people were initially trapped in the home, but both managed to escape, however one did need to be checked out by emergency personnel.

    The flames were centered in an upstairs garage converted into an apartment, and the source of the fire was electrical in nature, reports day.

    There was an estimated $100,000 damage to the structure and contents.
