Two local men arrested for theft
–On Monday, San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 28-year-old Genaro Rendon Zamora and 35-year-old Hector Flores Hernandez for possession of stolen property.
Some of the items recovered were determined to be stolen from agriculture properties in the North County area. Items including a Kubota RTV500 all-terrain vehicle, an electric golf cart, and a rifle, have had their owners identified.
Other items collected are believed to be stolen and their owners have not yet been identified. These items include generators, air compressors, leaf blowing equipment and a firearm.

The police are encouraging North County residents especially in rural areas to report suspicious activity on or around their properties. They also encourage residents to secure and mark their valuables both for prevention of theft and to aid in reuniting victims with their stolen property.
Additional suspects related to this case are still outstanding.
