Two North County residents arrested for drug possession

– Two North County residents, Nathan Allen Bulgin of Atascadero, and Jessica Carrie Banner of Templeton, were arrested on Saturday after a K9 unit sniffed out drugs in their car in a parking lot at 2005 Theater Drive in Paso Robles, according to Paso Robles Police Department Public Information Officer Lieutenant Ty Lewis.

According to Lewis, a K9 team was used to search the suspect vehicle.

The K9 alerted officers to the scent of the narcotics, finding 12.4 grams of heroin, 15 grams of methamphetamine and $1,277 in cash.

The two were booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and heroin for sale and a misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
