Upcoming events at the Paso Robles Senior Center 2019
–Check out the special events coming up next week at the Paso Robles Senior Center:
May 8 Book Signing & Dessert Reception: Paso resident and wildflower photographer Doris Lance will be signing her just-released book, Botanical Reflections, at the Paso Robles Senior Center, on Wednesday, May 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the public is invited.
A combination of a reflective question, inspirational quote, and a botanical illustration to paint or color, Botanical Reflections reaches all age groups, various artistic levels, and anyone who needs to take a “pause” in their day. Lance compiled the black and white illustrations by hiking from below sea level, in Death Valley, to our Central Coast, finishing the collection at over 10,000 feet in the Eastern Sierras, near Mammoth Lakes, CA.
In coordination with the book-signing, Lance’s Super Bloom Wildflower exhibition is on display in the Center’s main lobby. Join the author, friends, and community members for this book signing and dessert reception.
May 9 CAPSLO Breakfast & Conversation: Every other year CAPSLO does a community needs assessment to see what people identify as needs in our community. On May 9 at 9:30 a.m. visit the Senior Center for a healthy light breakfast and learn what the assessment results are so far – and provide your input as a part of the process. Reservations are not required to attend this event.
The Paso Robles Senior Center is located at 270 Scott Street and can be reached at (805) 237-3880.
