    Updated election results released Wednesday

    3,965 ballots remain to be processed from the election

    – The San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder’s office released updated election results Wednesday for various Paso Robles races.

    In City Council District 1, Kris Beal leads with 1,219 votes (43.83%), followed by Sharon Roden with 1,094 votes (39.34%), and Linda C. George with 468 votes (16.83%).

    For City Council District 3, Steve Gregory leads with 1,496 votes (43.53%), while Michael Rivera has 1,221 votes (35.53%), and Jeff Carr holds 720 votes (20.95%).

    Fred L. Strong, running unopposed in District 4, has received 2,068 votes (100%).

    Ryan Cornell, running unopposed for City Treasurer, has received 9,425 votes (100%).

    In the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District races, Nathan Williams leads in Area 3 with 1,619 votes (63.02%), while Hunter M. Breese has 950 votes (36.98%).

    For School Board Area 5, Laurene D. McCoy leads with 1,816 votes (54.96%), compared to Tim Gearhart’s 1,488 votes (45.04%).

    In School Board Area 6, Leo Castillo maintains his lead with 1,167 votes (52.73%), while Adelita Hiteshew has 1,046 votes (47.27%).

    For School Board Area 7, Kenney Enney leads with 2,007 votes (60.16%), while Tracy Dauterman has 1,329 votes (39.84%).

    Measure I-24, the city’s transactions and use tax proposal, is passing with 7,469 votes (54.40%) in favor and 6,260 votes (45.60%) against.

    County election officials reported Wednesday that 3,965 ballots remain to be processed from the election. 150,106 ballots have been counted so far. The county has processed 2,358 ballots since their last report.
