Vegetation fire breaks out in Adelaida district

Fire reportedly started in barn in rural Paso Robles
–A brush fire broke out on or just before 8 p.m. in the hills near the 2700 block of Adelaida Road in rural Paso Robles yesterday, according to reports. Fire crews have been working all night to contain the fire. The fire reportedly started in a barn/workshop, and as of midnight, was estimated to have grown to more than ten acres in size.
Fire crews from Cal Fire, as well as Paso Robles, Atascadero, and Templeton all responded.
There are no mandatory evacuations, although some residents did reportedly leave their homes.

No homes lost due to the quick response of of all the local and distant fire fighters! Again, our hats are off to you all …. also the many dozer drivers who showed up in the pitch dark!
