Vegetation fire near Paso Robles contained at 22 acres
Cal Fire and Paso Robles City Fire responded jointly
– Cal Fire and the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department responded with Paso Robles City Fire to a vegetation fire near Golden Hill Road and Ardmore Road in Paso Robles at approximately 5:40 p.m. May 20.
The fire was initially estimated at 3 to 5 acres in grass with a full response en route. Officials asked the public to avoid the area and watch for emergency personnel and equipment.
Forward progress stopped and the fire reached 20% containment in an initial update. A subsequent update reported forward progress stopped at 22.6 acres, with the fire 80% contained.
The fire reached 100% containment at 22.65 acres.
