‘Veterans’ Voices’ show returns to Studios on the Park

Studios on the Park artist Deprise Brescia is producing the veterans’ art show again.

–”Veterans’ Voices Returns” opens Saturday at Studios on the Park in Paso Robles. The art show celebrates veterans. The opening Saturday evening from 6-9 p.m. includes music, a ballet performance, and wine. Many of the veteran artists will be on hand for the opening.

Deprise Brescia is producing the veterans’ art show again. Last year, “Veterans Voices” featured art work created by veterans from the North County and other areas. The first show was a tremendous success.

This year, two veterans share art who fought on both sides of WW II. One man was living in Dresden, Germany when it was bombed. The other is a 102-year-old former bomber pilot in the US Army Air Force. Today, they work together promoting peace.

Artwork by other veterans will also be presented at the month-long show. Most of the art works are offered for sale.

The Opening Celebration Saturday night at 6 p.m. includes a (veteran) DJ Ed Morris and wine by Derby Wine Estates.

Besides producing the “Veterans Voices Returns” show, Deprise Brescia is an artist-in-residence at Studios on the Park in Downtown Paso Robles.

The Art After Dark opening runs from 6-9 p.m. Saturday night and is free to attend.
