my backyard overlooks this intersection. we call 911 at least monthly for accidents here. The block wall across from the intersection has been driven through four times in the past 24 months. I used to call the city each time and explain the east bound traffic on Creston needs a left turn light to prevent similar accidents but nothing has ever been done. I even talked to the mayor about the necessity for a let turn light from Creston to Golden Hill. we walk that way daily and have often been nearly hit by cars going east on creston, turning left on to Golden Hill. Creston takes a Y turn here and those cars coming from the school area drive very fast, and cannot be seen by the left turners on Creston.

Ginger, you are very right. The only accident I have had in my entire driving career was at this intersection. I, too, was making a left hand turn on the green light and a car driving west on Creston (far lane) speeded up to get through the light before it was red. I didn't see the car because the person in the near lane had already stopped for the light and blocked my view. This intersection needs a left arrow turn light.
