Vineyard Professional Real Estate adds new broker in Paso Robles

Thompson to guide buyers and sellers across wine country

    – Vineyard Professional Real Estate, a California-based brokerage specializing in vineyard and winery properties, has added Brittany Malone Thompson to its team of real estate professionals. Thompson will serve clients throughout the Central Coast, focusing on the Paso Robles American Viticultural Area and surrounding regions.

Thompson brings more than 15 years of experience in the wine industry to her real estate practice. Her background includes work in wine production, vineyard management, and grower relations. A graduate of California Polytechnic State University, she holds degrees in wine and viticulture and agribusiness marketing.

Earlier in her career, Thompson worked with Wild Horse Winery and Windward Vineyard. She later held positions with Screaming Eagle, Dalla Valle Vineyards, and Craggy Range in New Zealand.

Her real estate work has been marked by consistent performance and market knowledge. She has earned a reputation among sellers for her discretion and creativity, and among buyers for her ability to identify value in competitive conditions.

“Brittany’s background is rare,” said Jenny Heinzen, founder and broker of Vineyard Professional Real Estate. “She understands the land not only from an investment lens—but from the ground up. That level of technical fluency and regional insight is invaluable to our clients.”

Thompson said the market is increasingly calling for hybrid expertise.

“Clients today expect more — they expect strategic counsel,” Thompson said. “Whether we’re evaluating vineyard health, marketing a high-touch estate, or guiding a complex transaction, I’m here to deliver a process with a personalized approach that’s rooted in experience and built on trust.”

Based in Templeton, Thompson lives on a 10-acre ranch with her two children and is active in the Central Coast lifestyle.

Vineyard Professional Real Estate reports continued interest in Paso Robles from both lifestyle buyers and institutional investors. Market demand is especially focused on properties with water access, scalability, and operational readiness.

Led by Jenny Heinzen, Vineyard Professional Real Estate has closed more than $320 million in transactions and sold over 10,000 acres. The firm works with wine industry clients, investors, and landowners across the Paso Robles area, Edna Valley, and the greater Central Coast. It specializes in luxury vineyard estates, wineries, and confidential off-market sales.
